This is the third in my series of the Pyrénéan wildlife completed.
These magnificent creatures are wild sheep,known as Mouflon. This scene is just up the Mondony valley from where I live. I've used reference photos for the mouflon though,as these sheep are very timid and difficult to photograph as reference for painting.
They are well adapted to their habitat and despite their stocky built they are very agile and not afraid of vertical cliff faces. They don't have preditators so have a peaceful existance.
