On the West side of the small plantation, looking South over the croft land of Lettan towards Lopness, lies an area of about quarter of an acre sown with an enormous range of wildflowers. As time passed it has been largely reclaimed by native grasses though some plants like yellow rattle, purple clover and ox-eye daisies still bravely persist.
