How it was created

‘Wilderness’ was painted in Sian Storey’s studio in Hampshire, England in 2020 after many sightings of deer in the local area. Using acrylics and spray paint, you'll see detailed, delicate brushwork, patterns, finished off with flashes of gold spray paint.

Sian paints in layers, as seen in the intricate fur details of the deer and the spray paint drips. The spray paint is used to diffuse edges and lines, creating a hazy, ethereal finish.
