Original artwork description:

Painting represents a retro composition of a woman who is inside her room in Japan. Japan as an eternal source of inspiration for me, but also as a symbol of peace and the land of the rising sun and happiness. The female figure holds in her hands a mirror on which her reflection is - a symbol of self-knowledge. Get to know yourself first in order to get to know and love others in the right way.
In the composition, we also see the contrast between playful floral patterns and sharp geometric shapes. I wanted to experiment with the details and I think the contrast I got is really interesting. The window on the composition gives airiness, Mount Fuji can be seen. The cat at the window is my self-portrait within the composition. The dog is a symbol of fidelity and friendship, and looks the observer in the eye to awaken the interaction with the artwork. The red ball next to the dog represents the symbol of Japan - a circle from the Japanese flag.

The question is do you know who you are? Without name, profession, family, friends, experiences? Do you know yourself to the deepest point of existence? Have you given yourself time to meet the person you spend the most time with in your life?
