Whitewater Wave is a beautiful new painting by the realist artist, Christopher Witchall. This medium size oil painting on canvas measures 30 x 30 inches (76 x 76cm).

Inspired by summer visits to the English South coast, Christopher Witchall continues his preoccupation with the movement and colours of the ocean, a movement frozen in time between the ancient past and an endless future.

The artist’s unsentimental approach to his subjects combine two great passions - a love of traditional painting techniques and a fascination with the photographic image. The result of this are paintings that are both painterly and highly realistic.

Whitewater Wave is painted on a deep edge stretched canvas, so there is no need for framing and can be hung immediately. It is signed on the front and supplied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
