Artwork description:

This print shows a view of the waves and whitecaps in the North Sea. Created as a close up study as the waves in the foreground of my Whitby East Pier print.

It's an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image.

It is a limited variable print from an edition of 17, using Zerkall printing paper, 145gsm and Lawrence oil relief printing inks. The image size is 21.5cm x 52cm with a margin to allow for framing.

My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.

All of my prints are flat packed if delivered within the UK, and will be sent packaged in tissue and a tube if delivered outside of the UK.
