Artwork description:

From the Scottish Isle of Mull on the Inner Hebrides, this is the magnificent White Tailed Eagle, Haliaeetus albicilla, the UK's largest bird with a wingspan of 8-8 1/2 ft, putting it at a similar size to America's Bald Eagle. It is a bird which became extinct in the UK in the early 20th century, but a successful reintroduction now sees 44 breeding pairs in the UK, largely confined to the East coast of Scotland - A true honour to see him in all his glory

Giclee print
