It was a warm evening at Torre Vieja (Alicante). Our friends were grilling, smoking cigars and enjoying the warmth of the Mediterranean night. I sat next to me on the street and drew by touch in the orange light of a lantern. All the paints seemed black. But I was able to get the job done, almost without looking.
