This minimalist black-and-white piece captures a woman in a moment of serene contemplation, her head tilted upward with closed eyes. One side of her head appears shaved—or perhaps simply bare—leaving the viewer to decide whether it’s a bold style choice or a fleeting moment of beauty in a battle against illness.

A dark void emerges on her shoulder, where enigmatic red flowers seem to dance on its edge, adding a striking contrast. Only her lips and the blossoms carry a scarlet hue, breaking the monochrome stillness with a quiet yet powerful intensity.

Each stroke on the authentic vintage page, sourced from 'The Universal Dictionary of the English Language' from the 1930s, adds to the amalgamation of art and whimsy.
