Original artwork description:

I used to be a florist and peonies are my favourite flower so I started a series of close up investigations of the flower. When you start looking at them closely, so many different colours start appearing. This is painted on a tight Italian very fine canvas and I have used Michael Harding paints. It is framed in a plain box frame to compliment rather than compete against the flowers.
