This old white hare is quite happy waiting for the sunrise while he contemplates life's journey. Some might say he looks aloof and proud but he is full of wisdom and represents the cycle of the earth, the balance of life and the turning of the wheel as the seasons change from one to another.

This image was created by using Acrylic paint and a method called Frottage, which was developed by Max Ernst. It involves taking rubbings from items using pencil or graphite.

The artwork measures approx. 11.5"x8.25", the mount is 14"x11" with an aperture of 11.5"x8".
