The light was constantly changing. At this point, the sun had broken through heavy cloud and had a lovely warm hue, irrespective of the severe gale that was blowing! The waves were breaking on some offshore sea stacks which are under the white water in this image.
It was one of my most memorable photo shoots. The aim of the mission was to see the Sea Stack shown in 'Ocean rage-Mupe' engulfed in a giant wave.
It wasn't easy! Arriving in the dark, first a climb up a very steep hill, a long walk through an Army range, a chalk path made it easier to navigate in the feint glimmer of first twilight, all in the midst of a violent storm.
Conditions were immense and I shot a wide range of different images. Several appear here on Artfinder.
