Original artwork description:

Capturing nature's beauty is something of a life long challenge. Something that brings joy and satisfaction to me in equal measure....when it goes well, and head banging frustration when it does not. This painting started life many years ago, and having filled me with irritation I put it to one side, where it sat for a number of years. Now I have moved into my new studio and decided that it's time to finish what I've started. So I hope this is the first of many to come.
