In this original 9" x 12" watercolor, I explored the magical moment of dawn through a purple-tinted lens. The painting captures the delicate interplay between morning light and vegetation, featuring bare trees and wild grasses silhouetted against a luminous sky. I was particularly drawn to creating a dreamy atmosphere using a limited palette of purples and golds, allowing the yellow sun to gently pierce through the morning mist.
