Original artwork description:

This painting is inspired by the symbol and concept of Yin and Yang.
Like sycamore seeds spinning on the wind these two figures spiral inwards surrendering to the vortex. This vortex is a whirlwind of mounting passion where the meeting of elements sends out waves of energy.
The magnetic lure of opposing energies draw them together, their connection marked by a bright spark as they move towards the vacuum where nothing exits other than the light of their love.
This particular painting evolved out of a visionary process. Often I will consider metaphors and symbols within a painting for some time but this one appeared very spontaneously.
