A delicate representation reflecting the delicacy of the subject. The Lilly has many and various symbolic associations and the female represented by the figurine meditates each day which association best suits. For instance in Greek folklore the Lilly is associated with motherhood (Hera's excess milk flows to the earth and becomes a lilly) but conversely the lilly is also associated with high eroticism (long pistil and pollen) and fertility. In Christian mythology the lilly is for chastity and purity - it can be a sign of encouragement, of clarity a chance of success ....
