Original artwork description:
"WHERE WOULD I BE WITHOUT YOU?" part of the collection, Story of a Woman, a homage to women and their role in society and the family. This one refers to the love of moms. Where would you be if you hadn't had a mother? It also refers to life and how we must protect it. The painting is a beautiful turquoise blue, that looks like a textured wall. The center has a version of Virgin Mary, an image from french painter Henry Bouguereau, which I have painted over and added a crown of pink roses surrounding her head. There some hearts and two blue butterflies on the background.
This series is all made with oils and collage that has been painted over to enhance the colors. They are all made on linen to ensure the best quality. All my paintings are originals. For your convenience, it is shipped stretched, wired and ready to hang. 1.5" edge is painted. Certificate of Authenticity. Signed on front and back.
