Original artwork description:

This painting is from my collection of works 'The land at the end of our toes'. The collection is inspired by the landscapes of Britain - its coasts, estuaries, fields and fells. With these paintings I seek to capture the feeling of being within these places and to bring to life the moments of magic that appear, often from the most unassuming of beginnings.

These are not paintings of specific views, rather they are inspired by the places that have formed an important part of my life. My hope is that every viewer will find their own memories and experiences within these works and be transported to a place and time that they uniquely hold special.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint on canvas
