Original artwork description:

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN AND WILL END
120 (w) x 150 (h) x 2 cm
47,2 (w) x 59,1 (h) x 0,78 inches
acrylic and oil on canvas

LARGE STATEMENT-PIECE

Large monochrome work in Prussian blue, that very consciously refers to the (only apparent) lightness of watercolors and Chinese ink painting and the wonderful handling of melancholy drawn in water. This artwork is for sale as a solitaire and as the middle part of the triptych ON THE BANKS OF THE HUDSON. If you want to buy the complete triptych, please contact me for a special price.

This painting gives an aesthetic, findely nuanced impression on your wall. Deliberately the sides are no part of the painting and show the white and pure canvas with a few splashes of paint to emphazise the intuitiveness and spontaneity of the painting process. The painting is unframed and ready to hang (on the backside: iron-plates with metal inserts and nylon rope for gallery use), it doesn't need a frame or any additional surface tretament. The piece will safely shipped in a custom wooden crate and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a cover letter.

Please note: In context pictures are not necessarily to scale and are for illustrative purposes only. If you have any questions about this artwork or any other piece, feel free to contact me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Furthermore I am available for large-format commissioned work and the execution of your personal statement-piece.

Thanks so much for taking an interest in my work.
