Acrylic colours on raw Fabriano Rosaspina watercololur paper, 285gm. 28 x 19 in., 71 x 49cm.
I enjoy returning to this raw paper paper. It’s a convenient size, just the right absorbency, and a thick paper, and the colours stand out brilliantly.
This is inspired from the Hindu mystics of India. But it’s a project about colours, movement and an expressive flow and mix of paint.
The close up picture allows you a better feel for the texture and brush stroke of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress, and photographing the painting.
