Original artwork description:

Greys yield to reds, gold and pale turquoise, with areas of mineral blue and pink. Lines are as central in this cross-like composition as are 'distressed' masses of color. Gold dust and pearlized turquoise add additional textural interest as does the highly worked and overpainted surface. This is professionally framed in modern, and complementary, 3-inch deep dark walnut frame which is narrow on the surface.
