In my artwork, I have captured a vibrant scene of a summer wheat field punctuated by bright poppies. The use of oil paints allowed me to achieve rich, deep colors and contrast the vibrant reds of the flowers against the golden yellow of the field. As an impressionist, I emphasized the gentle movements of nature and took a realistic, yet poetic look at simple country life. This painting radiates peace and beauty, filling any room with a touch of summer joy and serenity.
