I love painting birds with the palette knife. I usually go in for more conventional crops and shy away from very close crops such as this. These pair of eyes however drew me in and I had to paint them.

This original painting is heavily textured as it has been painted exclusively with the palette knife. The painting ships unframed. I will be very happy to offer framing suggestions if needed, just drop me a line.
