Original artwork description:

I've always been fascinated by painting trees and moons and they feature frequently throughout my work. This painting is on that same theme and I feel it has an element of mystery, uncertain of what might be in the darkness of the woods! This painting is painted in a semi abstract way with loose mark making and softly blended and muted colours of Prussian blue and deep dark olive greens.
Painted on board and mounted and backed with a warm white mountboard. Can alternatively be sold framed if preferred in a glazed black wooden box frame, please contact me from here for this option.
I will always consider doing a commissioned painting similar to this one in a larger format if required, please contact me for details.
