Original artwork description:

A little way North of Cape Wrath on the most North Westerly point of mainland Scotland lies the notorious Stag Rock. When West or SW. gales are blowing and the ebb tide is running in the face of the wind this becomes a maelstrom of broken water. As a fisherman I frequently fished there for crab and lobster while working out of Kinlochbervie.
