Original artwork description:
A view of Wester Ross on mainland Scotland seen from the north of the Isle of Skye.
I painted this view from a quick sketch i did at the time- it was between showers and Wester Ross was only visible for a Moment
This is an acrylic painting on a 40mm deep box canvas unframed strung and ready to hang. I have left the canvas sides white as I feel it helps frame the painting.
I have used some texture medium in the foreground to emphasis the breaking surf and the brief sunlight on the water.
