Framed oil painting showing the play of light, colours and atmosphere of the West Coast of Scotland. The view is taken from my travels around the Scottish Isles towards the Isle of Rum. I find it fascinating how the light can create atmospheric drama so synonymous with that part of Scotland. Scotland is known for it's atmospheric skies and dramatic Sea and landscapes and I am constantly finding inspiration surrounding me.

The artwork is painted on a 3mm MDF panel that has been sealed and primed for oils. It has been framed onto a white panel to create a broad relief and then finished off with a black frame. The artwork image itself is 9.5cm x 5.5cm (3.74 x 2.16 inches). The frame is 3.8cm wide by 2.8 cm deep.
