This Oil Painting on high quality stretched Canvas was inspired by a bumpy ride on a speedboat in Thailand. My wife and I had joined a tour group that was visiting a beautiful Ocean National Park off the coast of Koh Samui and the transport was by speedboat. The captain was driving very fast and the boat was bumping around quite a lot with water splashing over the passengers. My wife and I decided to take some silly pictures of ourselves pulling funny faces to exaggerate the effects of the bumpy boat and splashing water. I really liked the funny faces we had in the photos and used them as a reference for this painting which was completed over a few years. As you can see from the painting, my wife was the brave one enjoying the speed and screaming Werhoo! while I look a bit scared!
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
