Title : we're ok
Presentation of the work
This work belongs to the expressionist world of contemporary art and expresses the deep human need for love, freedom and physical desire, through the unique story of two Siamese brothers. Created with acrylic and ink on canvas, the composition is characterized by intense, passionate brushstrokes and dramatic contrasts that intensify the emotional charge of the subject.
The two sisters, united since birth, seek their personal fulfillment through love, while at the same time experiencing a constant struggle between individuality and fusion. Their bodies are indivisible, but their desires remain separate, creating an inner dilemma full of tension and passion. Through the dynamic forms and explosive color contrasts, the work conveys the conflict between physical union and personal desire, between “we” and “me”.
The ink, used with expressive lines, adds a sense of raw truth and inner struggle, while the layers of acrylic create a sense of depth and materiality, enhancing the drama of the subject. The work does not tell a simple story but invites the viewer to feel, identify and question the limits of the body, desire and human nature.
A composition that, beyond its aesthetic power, raises questions about identity, self-determination and the ability of love to transcend physical limits.
The work comes rolled in tube for safety reasons and you can stretch it at any local framer or art shop.
The painting is original and signed by me on the back and front .
Thank you,Dimitris Pavlopoulos
