Original artwork description:

A very important work for me and a statement on a crucial topic we're facing these days. In the world of growing instability and in context of the destructive impact that our civilization inflicts on the nature and the planet's climate what we deeply need is growth of awareness and responsibility.
It is my deepest belief that if every one of us became truly aware of oneself as an integral part of the vast global -and in extension cosmic- organism, this awareness could become the source of hope and unshaken stability as well as a guiding force and motivation to finally take responsibility for one another and for the footprint our lives leave in this world.
This nocturne expresses all that to me - there is impermanence, the raising waters and instability of man-made constructs, yet there's the serenity, there is the hope and certainty that our lives are a part of the immense cosmic flow and nothing short of a miracle.
The painting's on gessoed mdf wood panel; I've used a combination of oil and oil-based etching inks to achieve the high vibrance and saturation.
The work comes wonderfully framed in a deep wooden floatframe and ready to hang,
