Original artwork description:

A powerful and beautiful statement piece about the healing time we spend at the sea. The painting is done after a poem of Erich Fried called "Wenn Du zum Meer gehst..." ("When you are going to the Sea"), one of my favourite poems.

The expressive painting shows lots of marks and traces of the painting process and calligraphy done with graphite. The greys are more blueish in reality (or the blues are greyish...)!

Acrylics and graphite on 50x100 cm gallery wrapped canvas, unframed, sides painted with traces of painting process, no framing needed, hook on the back. Signed on the back.

If you want to frame the painting it would love a white, grey or silve floating frame.

ATTENTION: The different framing and interior pictures shown just give an idea what it can look like, but there are many more options, just ask your local framer or contact me if you need any advice on this!
COLORS: Please be aware that monitors may show colors slightly different from reality, especially blues and greens. It is almost impossible to avoid that!
SHIPPING: Please note, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. I have no control over these charges and I cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.
