When walking in Wales you invariably come across sheep, and they nearly always run away. These sheep were running towards me to a gap in the hedge where they could then get away, so it is an unusual view of sheep. Sheep are round and wooly, and delightful to paint.
This pastel painting has a gold and canvas pleine aire frame 7cm wide.
