Contemporary Impressionism.

Oil painting on stretched cotton canvas of one of the artists favourite places in Wales. This tranquil quiet stretch of peaceful water is called Craflwyn Water and can be found in Snowdonia's National Park.
The artist has used a combination of impressionism and realism to capture all the details in the dry stone wall and ferns. The hazy sun is streaming through the overhanging tree branches giving the whole scene an ethereal quality; you can almost hear the sound of trickling water!
The painting continues around the edges for an unframed contemporary look and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
