This gestural skyscape, painted in unsual jewel colours, is a glimpse into the inner life of the artist; wild, free and expansive.  Deep olives contrast with rich mulberry tones to create a sense of opulence and complexity.  The brushwork varies between soft and blended and explosive in places, textured here and there with palette knife work on the final layers.
