This is one of a series of paintings created in a loose, experimental style, using a variety of techniques. The subject and the colours create the hazy feeling of a hot summers day in a Spanish city, in this case Seville.
The cool shadows of the trees in and out of view and the bright sun umbrellas are inviting you to escape the heat and enjoy a cool drink in the company of friends.
Painted on Arches Watercolour paper this painting comes with a 5cm cream mount.
