Original artwork description:

I am now moving in a new direction with my still life artworks. I am aiming to create paintings with texture, but flat texture, so created with layers of translucent paint that create depth and interest wherever you look in the painting. The background and flower have multi layers of 2 or 3 hues. The background is painted with blues, whites and subtle purples to create a soft focus background; the subject matter can be interpreted or imagined by the viewer! The white flower is painted with a careful mix of thin translucent greens, purples and whites, with layers of the dry brush technique to create movement, texture, vibrancy, interest and I am very excited to have began my journey to creating a series in this painting style. The composition is true to my rosehip series, as I didn't want to change that format too much as I really like the minimalist and slightly surreal elements to these paintings.

The sides of the canvas are painted black so that you can hang it on your wall upon receiving it. You may frame the canvas yourself of course, it is personal preference. I will package the artwork safely and securely and send you a tracking reference number.
