Abstract impressionist landscape painting.

Semi-abstracted impressionistic landscape.

Walking or cycling every morning in my rural corner of Kent, south-east England is always a source of inspiration in terms of enviroment. Colour, seasons, weather and how I feel all feed into ideas which later are expressed in my studio.

I love to work with many layers and tones of paint and build these up slowly on my canvasses, I use brushes, rags, palette knives and brushes to create a rich and textured surface on the canvas.

This 90x120cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
