An original romantic painting with an echo of a vintage era.

I love the era of the late 1800's into the early 1900's and chose to paint characters on their wedding day in such a time. Here is a bit of nostalgia and fun that would make the ideal wedding gift.

The red haired groom is blushing with his beautiful bride who is wearing a vintage wedding dress. There are petals, rice and leaves on the floor and rice in the hair of the couple too.

Using watercolours and acrylic there is a happy mix of subtlety, colour and texture in this unique piece.

The canvas is painted white on the edges, has been varnished in a high quality glossy varnish and is strung at the back for hanging.
