Original artwork description:

This painting was created by Swan Lake out near Cotford St Luke. The painting records the view seen of the trees and landscape whilst also capturing the rain as it began during the paintings production. Through pure chance the effect of the rain drops landing on the surface has added a particular quality to the image.

The title is adapted from: “We were men once, though we've become trees” Dante Alighieri, Inferno

[Can be arranged to be placed in a box frame. Contact me for details.]

Materials used:

Indian Ink, Collected Swan Lake Water and Postcard.
