Painted on-site at the Peony Collection of Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, WI. Features two large peony flowers: one pale pink and white, the other deep red, accented by one white and one bright pink peony bud and delicate leaves. Painted with oil on board. The background is created with textured brushstrokes in a variety of greens and magenta red. Painted with both brush and palette knife, the shapes of the flower petals are enhanced by shaping of the paint with palette knife. Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a black finish and gold inner edge. May be purchased unframed by request.
