We are all connected (Rhizomorph-ink edition)
A few years back I was not able to paint in my studio. All my stuff were inside boxes until the day I could return back home and set it all up again.
I cant even describe how much I had missed painting. Waiting to return was not an option, so I found my papers and my inks and decided to make something, out of the usual for me, since I'm used to always use so many types of colors, materials, mediums... But the best result comes when you least expect it and search for it.
That's how the series Rhizomorph-ink was created. Just paper, acrylic ink and my thirst to create again.
Lines that flow naturally, effortless, free, creating branches and roots that swing in the wind of the creator.
Since then I have always included elements of them in my art and I always fall back to them in times that I feel blocked or not knowing what's next. In these years this series has evolved in different forms, one of them is this artwork, a combination of this theme with my beloved floral theme.
Kuretake Gansai tambi watercolors and Ecoline ink, with details of metallic pigments here and there on 29x21cm aquarelle 300gr paper.
Signed in the back, comes with certificate of authenticity, not framed. Frame shown in the photo is only for presentation and not in scale.
Import taxes and duties is the responsibility of the buyer.
