Original artwork description:

“Waves And Rocks” painting was featured in the Plein Air Magazine October-November 2021 in “10 Artists To Collect Now”.
This painting was inspired by the observation of surf at the Pescadero Point beach in Northern California. I was fascinated by the shape and colors of the waves, with the top catching the sunlight, and the bottom in shade having many hues of blue, purple, and green.

Materials used to create this artwork:

Oil paint on RayMar C15DP Claessens Belgian linen, a medium textured, irregular weave linen with two coats of oil priming for a semi-smooth surface. Linen is mounted on 1/16" FeatherLite Medium Density Fiberboard, that has no added oils, and the back of the board is sealed with RayMar signature gray melamine to prevent warping and deterioration.

The painting is listed and sold unframed. It will fit in a standard (US) 9"x12" frame.

Kindly note that not all in-context (in a room) pictures provide a true sense of scale of artwork. Please refer to listing size.
