Original artwork description:

This is one of two pencil studies of breaking waves that were drawn from the beach outside the Discovery Kartika Plaza, Kuta Beach Bali. I love the Ocean and on this day the breaking waves were making these beautiful small barrels and I wanted to try to capture them. It is actually quite difficult to draw the constantly moving and shape changing ocean as your point of reference is always moving! I like the different feeling that the colour of each drawing has created. It was a bright sunny day and the barrel of the wave was the darkest spot in the ocean at that time.
This study was done using coloured pencils as I wanted to work quickly and catch the different colours of the water.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
