I made this little painting on site at Lake Ariel in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania while staying at a house I rented with my wife and kids. It was relaxing and productive but not quite the European Grand Tour of the Victorian age. Still, I always enjoy these get-a-ways and capturing the local scenery
