In this painting, the main actor is the watermelon. Ripe, red, with sugary flesh.
A pleasant reminder of the end of summer, of childhood. After all, it's in childhood that we can eat this berry and not think about the amount of sugar in it.
But it's always nice to admire such a vivid picture.
And then there's the dark green bottle in this painting. Could be cold water in it, or it could be wine. It depends on what you like.
