Original artwork description:

This corner of London has an almost Victorian feeling to it, hemmed in by iron bridges and tall buildings of yesteryear. Trains rumble southwards, cutting through buildings. I have used collage to add to the retrospective feel, and realism and detail define the work. It is rich in detail, striking and boldl, a wonderful addition to any collection of British art. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.

Materials used:

cotton and wood canvas, acrylic paint, paper/card, glue, clear varnish gloss
