Waterlilies Pond 1

I was always very inspired by Claude Monet and his water lilies paintings from his wonderful garden in Giverny, France. Here in Hamburg we have a wonderful pond with lilies on it and a wood at the end. Its so peaceful to look at the poppy pink lilies on the gently floating water, finding their way threw the sleepy green leaves, never known exactly whats underneath. The reflection of the white clouds and the strong blue sky on the water is what I like most about this painting. The main colours are royal blue, white, green, beige, prussian blue and pink for the lilies. If turn the painting 180 degree, you might be able to see a small naked women lying in the clouds. I saw her after I was ready with the painting.


Original oil and acrylic painting on 100% cotton stretched canvas. The artwork isn´t framed. Painted with brushes, palette knife and my fingers. I only use very high standard paint for my paintings like Amsterdam or Schmincke, all non toxic and no fading.
100 cm x 100 cm x 2 cm / 39,4 x 39,4 x 0,8"
Finished with varnish including UV protection.
The Original painting painted from me will be send with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The sides are painted too, so you can hang up the painting directly at your wall with the installed wire on the back or you can add a frame you like.

The painting will be packed absolut securely and send only via a tracked courier like for example UPS. The value is insured.
If the shipping price is less than you paid for it, I give you back the difference.
