Original artwork description:

I love the shock of the bright red petals against the coolness of the pond. I painted this quickly because the image was so fresh in my mind even though I had seen this pond several months ago.
This canvas is unframed but the sides are painted, and the back furnished with D rings and framer's cord so it is ready to hang.
