Artwork description:

This is an original, large scale, hand carved linocut. The work is entitled 'Waterfall' as the imagery seems to pour or flow down the paper from top to bottom. An explanation by myself, the artist, of this work is featured in a short film entitled 'Interview with Art Exploration Calcutta' that you can view in the 'me at work' section of my shop on Artfinder. In brief, however, this piece relates to cultural identity and the continent of Africa, the shape of which can be seen spilling from the glass in the form of water, at the top of the work.

This is a limited edition linocut, printed on 315gsm Heritage Bookwhite paper.

Your print will come rolled in a tube and will be signed for so as to reach you hassle free.

If you have any questions relating to the work before purchase please don't hesitate to ask me.

Materials used:

linoleum, printmaking ink, carving tools
