Still life with plums arranged in the round bowl I made from nature using watercolor paints. There are two sorts of plums, blue and yellow ones, I find its color mix pretty lovely and complementary to each other. Besides the color, the variety of forms attracts attention. Yellow plums are small and round, but blue ones are bigger and have an oblong shape. What I especially like is a matte light coating of plums, that makes an adorable play of warm and cold shades, and gives wide opportunities to use picturesque watercolor techniques.
